Some talking points ahead of this weekends Pro12 games

Who will be at the summit come the end of the weekend?

What an exciting weekend of Rugby we have to look forward to as the top four go head to head on Friday and Saturday. With all four sides guaranteed play-offs spots, the final two games will decide who secures a home semi-final. On Friday Glasgow will look to go one step further to securing a home semi-final with a win against Ospreys. The other game is an all-Irish affair as Ulster entertain Munster. If Glasgow slip up on Friday it will give both sides the opportunity to climb above them into first ahead of the penultimate weekend of games next week.

Can Leinster secure Champions Cup place?

After a woeful 2015, Leinster go into the final two games having already surrendered the Pro12 crown. Having missed out on a play-off spot they take on Treviso on Friday night looking to secure a place in next years Champions Cup. Matt O’Connor has named a strong side to take on the Italian side as a defeat would mean they would have to slug it out on the last weekend of games for a place in the Champions Cup and with their poor form in recent months a trip to Murrayfield to take on Edinburgh would not be a forgone conclusion.

Scarlets, Edinburgh and Connacht who can secure the final Champions Cup spot?

It has been an interesting watch all season seeing these three sides battle it out for 6th place and a spot in next years Champions Cup. As of now Scarlets hold the advantage and with Cardiff Blues and Treviso to play in their final two games you would fancy them to get over the line. However with the introduction of the Champions Cup, the team who finishes in 7th will earn a play-off where they will have to face Gloucester with the winner of that game facing the team who finished 7th in the Top14. Connacht take on Zebre looking to secure maximum points to keep them in the hunt and they will hope the Dragons can do them a favour when they take on Edinburgh at Rodney Parade.
