Spencer to captain in Round 16 - Bath Rugby

The Investec Champions Cup returns this weekend, seeing Bath Rugby face Saracens in the competition’s Round of 16.

Set to run out in front of a sold-out Rec crowd, Johann van Graan has named his squad to face Mark McCall’s men at 3pm on Saturday afternoon.

Beno Obano starts this week’s team sheet, joined by Tom Dunn and Archie Griffin in the front row.

Quinn Roux and Charlie Ewels will start in the second row.

Josh Bayliss and Guy Pepper are named on the flanks with Alfie Barbeary completing the pack.

Captaining from scrum-half, Ben Spencer is joined by Finn Russell at fly-half.

Max Ojomoh and Ollie Lawrence will link up in the midfield with Henry Arundell and Joe Cokanasiga out wide.

Santi Carreras completes the starting line-up at full back.

Kepu Tuipulotu, Francois van Wyk and Thomas du Toit will offer their impact as substitutions, alongside Ted Hill, Sam Underhill and Miles Reid as fellow replacement forwards.

Bernard van der Linde will make his European debut in club colours from the bench, with Cameron Redpath completing this week’s replacements.
