Sunwolves Squad Update

The Sunwolves have added a further 4 players to their squad for the remainder of the 2018 Super Rugby season.


Looseforward Rahboni Warren-Vosayaco rejoins the side having made 7 appearances scoring 2 tries during the 2017 Super Rugby season, while Sungoliath flanker Nishikawa Masakatsu joins the squad for the first time.

Japanese and Verblitz international back rower Fetuani Lautaimi will also his get his first taste of Super Rugby while the final addition to the squad sees scrumhalf Kaito Shigeno rejoin the side having represented the Sunwolves during the 2016 & 2017 Super Rugby seasons.

The final change in the Sunwolves squad sees flanker Lappies Labuschagne leave the side as his involvement was only until end of April as a result of his contract with Kubota Spears. 

Labuschagne's absence will be felt as he made 17 tackles more than any other squad member (110). He featured in 7 of the Sunwolves 9 matches so far this season and won 11 turnovers.
