Super Rugby Highlights: Stormers v Bulls

The Stormers avenged their hammering by the Bulls in the opening round of Super Rugby with a hard fought 24-23 home win in the North-South derby. The Stormers ran in the only two tries of the first half, but the Bulls kept the scoreboard ticking over with three penalties to trail just 14-9 at the break. An early second half try for the Bulls saw the visitors in front 16-14. A penalty saw the Stormers regain the lead before they went over for their third try to take a two score advantage into the final quarter of 24-16. A late Bulls penalty went wide, but the Stormers, searching for the try bonus point, decided to counter from deep which allowed the Bulls to pounce with a try with the final play of the match to snatch a losing bonus point.
