Super Rugby Preview: Hurricanes

Super Rugby Preview: Hurricanes

Last year’s champions will be heading into the 2017 Super Rugby very confident, following a strong campaign from start to finish last year.

With the backing of last year’s World Rugby Player of the Year 2016, Beauden Barrett, one would expect the Canes to cruise into the play-off stages of the competition.

The Hurricanes will also extend the family business this year with Barrett’s younger brother, Jordie, joining the squad with the Savea brothers having played together last season.

The reigning champions will be hoping that their attractive brand of rugby will bring them further success when they kick off their campaign against The Sunwolves on the 25th of  February.
