Flanker Dan Thomas has been given the chance to make his first Premiership start for Gloucester as the Cherry and Whites seek to continue their unbeaten domestic form at Kingsholm on Saturday (3pm).
David Humphreys' team return to the grindstone after the elation of European glory last Friday and are up against London Irish, one of Gloucester's fellow Premiership strugglers.
Thomas, 21, replaces Ross Moriarty who is suspended following an independent disciplinary hearing in Dublin on Thursday.
Similarly, Brendan Macken comes in for Bill Meakes who is also suspended.
