Team of the weekend
1. Alex Waller
Was a vital factor in the Northampton scrum that dominated Gloucester on Friday night.
2. Schalk Brits
Caused Worcester problems all game. Explosive running to setup a try and managed to nab a try for himself off the back of a maul.
3. Dan Cole
Scored his 1st try in 6 years in Leicester's gritty win over Bath. Good performance from the England tighthead.
4. George Kruis
Saracens were great at the set piece and Kruis impressed at Twickenham.
5. Maro Itoje

Seems to be destined for great things. Work rate was excellent around the pitch as he picked up the MOTM award.
6. James Haskell
Got stuck in for Wasps in their win, showed glimpses of what form he can reach when at his best.
7. James Connolly
Great debut by Connolly in Connacht's famous win over Munster. Aggression going forward and in defence.
8. Nathan Hughes
Seems like a regular fixture in our team of the weekend but the form he is in for Wasps is too hard to leave out.
9. Ben Spencer
Really impressed at Twickenham. Looked very sharp going forward, setup a Chris Ashton try superbly and got one for himself too.
10. Gareth Steenson
The fly half was in tremendous form scoring a try and kicking well. Scored 21 out of 26 points for the Chiefs!
11. Frank Halai
Settling into life at Wasps well and he continued his good form at Twickenham scoring 2 tries.
12. Johnny Williams
Dream debut for the 19 year old at Twickenham! Touched down twice for Irish as they went down to Wasps.
13. Bundee Aki
Superb performance in Limerick and deservedly awarded MOTM as he shone in attack and defence. Rounded it off with a great try in the corner.
14. Chris Ashton
Might be putting his hand up for an England recall. His defence was solid against Worcester and managed to get on the score sheet.
15. Robbie Henshaw
Unfortunately for Henshaw and Connacht he will be ruled out for the next 6 weeks but played well in his natural position and setup Aki's try with a lovely step and offload.
