The Beast to equal rugby prop record

Having made his debut in 2008, Tendai 'The Beast' Mtawarira will earn his 80th cap after being named in the starting line-up for Saturday’s return Rugby Championship clash with Argentina, equalling two-time World Cup winner Os du Randt’s record as most-capped prop for the Springboks.

The Zimbabwean-born Mtawarira joined up with the Sharks in 2008 after school, and has gone on to enjoy a successful career in the front row for the Springboks.
