O'Connor sacked: Leinster coach Matt O'Connor has been sacked from his post as Leinster head coach the Irish Independent report. The Australian has lost his job after Leinster failed to9 make it into the Pro12 playoffs. For Leinster's standards it was a poor season despite making the Champions Cup semi-final, the Dublin based side lost 8 games in the Pro12 this season and finished 5th. The majority of Leinster fans will be happy with this decision as this is Leinster's first time outside the top 4 since 2005. No replacement has been names as of yet with Leo Cullen taking temporary charge of the squad.
Braid to leave Glasgow: Glasgow utility back Connor Braid will leave the Scottish side at the end of the season. Braid originally signed for 3 months with the Warriors but managed to land himself a contract for the 2014/15 season. The Canadian international spent time on loan with Championship side London Scottish for a short space of time and made 11 appearances for Glasgow.
