Tim Perry suffers hamstring strain in All Blacks camp

New Zealand and Crusaders prop Tim Perry has pulled up with an injury on the final day of the national training camp in Auckland.

All Blacks doctor Tony Page reported that the loose-head prop suffered a hamstring strain to his left leg during a low-intensity team drill.

Perry was a surprise inclusion in Steve Hansen's 33-man squad to play France in a three-match Test series in June, alongside club team-mates Owen Franks and Joe Moody, who are both suspended for Friday's top-of-the-table Super Rugby showdown against the Hurricanes in Christchurch.

The 29-year-old will be examined over the coming days before an assessment is made, but he is almost certain to miss the weekend’s action.
