Stade Francais had an early and unanswered 13 points. Clermont came back with 14 unanswered poins of their own. Two more penalties from Stade Francais and another one from Clermont gave the score at 19-17 to Stade Francais at the break. In the first five minutes of the second half we had another successful kick at goal from the home team and they extended their lead. Clermont scored a try and converted it, and another converted try 10 minutes later giving them a 9 point lead over Stade Francais. Another 3 points were scored from each team, first Stade Francais and then by Clermont before the final try was scored and converted in the dying minutes of the game by Clermont. What a match!! Great work from both teams and in particular the victors. Final score 25-41 to Clermont Auvergne.
