Toulon thrashed a hapless Clermont side 49-0 in round 22 of the French Top 14. It was all Toulon in the first half as the hosts crossed for five unanswered tries to take an emphatic 35-0 lead into the break. It didn't get any better for Clermont in the second half as Toulon ran in an early score to all but wrap up the game with over 30 minutes remaining. Toulon's complete dominance of the match continued and they were able to add a seventh try to seal a truly remarkable victory.
