Top 3 peformers Ulster V Scarlets
- 1095
Paddy Jackson
The number 10's opening game of the season was quite a memorable one. Jackson was accurate off the tee and even more accurate out of hand pinning Scarlets back on numerous occasions throughout the game with the ball often bouncing into touch. A classy performance from the number 10, exciting stuff for the Ulster fans.
Craig Gilroy
The nippy winger failed to get on the scoreboard but caused problems for the Scarlets defense jinking and weaving every time he got on the ball. Gilroy provided excitement and pace to a game that was plagued with constant penalties. If the Ulster Winger keeps up these performances no doubt he will be on the mind of Ireland coach Joe Schmidt.
Liam Williams
The Welsh winger provided life to what was quite a flat performance by the Scarlets. Williams was hungry to get involved and made a sensational try saving tackle showing unbelievable pace in the first half to stop Ulster adding to their lead.
