Top 3 performers: Zebre v Wasps

Wasps secure a bonus-point victory over Zebre at the Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi. They progress to the knock-out phases of the tournament facing Leinster in Dublin after the 6 Nations championship.

Here are our Top 3 performers from the Pool 2 match.

Elliot Daly:

The athletic centre produced a top class performance in his sides victory over a fiery Zebre outfit. An ever present threat in open play, Daly used his pace and balance to carve open the Zebre defence time and time again placing his side on the front foot. He scored the stand out try of the game on the stroke of half time and as a result earned himself the Man of the Match award.

Ashley Johnson:

Johnson was hugely involved in Wasps' effort today claiming two tries for himself. He was everywhere, using his bulk to great effect at the breakdown to make life very difficult for the Italians. Not only in contact but in open play he proves to be explosive with ball in hand.

Kurt Baker:

The Kiwi was a potent threat in Zebre's attack interlinking well with his surrounding players throughout and claiming a try for himself in the latter stages of the game. His fielding at full back was impressive when tested under the high ball and when on the counter attack he showed that he has pace aswell.
