Top 3 performers - England vs Scotland

Joseph was undoubtedly the star of England's championship clinching rout over Scotland. He carved the Scottish defence open twice in the first half as he went over for two mesmerising tries showing searing pace and impressive footwork and in the second half he got his hat-rick. Such a performance definitely backs him for the 13 jersey for the Lions.

Playing at blindside flanker Itoje didn't fail to impress. His immense physicality at the breakdown area caused huge problems for the Scottish as he won ball after ball. He popped up repeatedly with bone shattering tackles, a testament to the young mans strength. He carried well and broke the gain lone more often than not with his mix of size and mobility putting him a class above the rest.

An injury doubt in the build up to the game, ironically Owen Farrell oozed confidence throughout with impeccable place kicking and effective kicking from hand. Making his tackles in the 12 channel and distributing brilliantly in support of Ford, Farrell was without doubt a pivotal member in England's Championship winning performance.
