Top 3 Performers - Glasgow vs Leicester

Leonardo Sarto

Sarto caused Leicester's backline issues throughout the fixture, earning the Man of the Match award in the process. However, the winger's blistering pace was most noticeable in the second half, from what would have arguably been try of the season had it come off. Sarto tore through Leicester's defense along the touchline before cutting back in, avoiding several tackles and finding his support to keep the attack alive. Leonardo also managed to get on the scoreboard as he read Leicester's attack perfectly to intercept the ball and score.

Stuart Hogg

Hogg continued his fine form as he led from the front for Glasgow. The fullback showed his ability from the tee as he slotted an impressive kick from inside his own half. Hogg also showed the threat he holds with ball in hand as he broke through Leicester's line on several occasions, most notably the impressive chip and chase he executed in the second half. The Tigers struggled to advance with their kicking game due to Hogg's superb covering in defense.

Ben Youngs

Youngs was the one shining light for Leicester in what was a lackluster performance for the English side. The scrum half showed his understanding of the game as he sent in a number of impressive box kicks to give Leicester much needed territory. When needed, Youngs was on hand to clear the ball and give Leicester some stability. This was most notable after Glasgow's relentless pressure at the Tigers' line.
