Top 5 performers of the weekend

Christian Wade

The Wasps man proved once again he is hungry for an England jersey with another outstanding performance. Wade scored twice against Wasps demolition against Bristol this afternoon. He proved impossible to keep quiet in what was a master class of a performance by the Wasps.

Paddy Jackson

The Ulster mans opening performance of the Pro12 proved to be quiet a memorable one. The number 10 who missed the first two games because of an injury kicked exceptionally well out of hand and showed great accuracy off the tee. He proved vital in Ulster's 19-8 win over Scarlets.

Dan Leavy

The big flanker proved he is a dominant physical force on the pitch wreaking havoc against Edinburgh. Leavy put in some huge hits along with several turnovers showing real determination in a strong Leinster performance. Leavy managed to score twice which proved to be the deciding factor on the score line.

Sam Davies

Despite the Ospreys 10 being subbed off for Dan Bigger in the second half Davies had an impressive game against Treviso. The young fly half kicked 11 points in Osprey's test against the Italian side and helped them achieve a massive score line of 64-10. Davies also produced a quality distribution game, hopefully we see more of this guy throughout the season.

George Ford

The 10 had a convincing performance in Baths win over Worcester. The twenty three year old kicked well out of hand and punished the Warriors for their mistakes as he managed to get four conversions and three penalties. Worcester head coach Carl Hogg praised Fords kicking saying "The game obviously swung on a 10-minute window in the second half when we made back-to-back errors and someone of George Ford's quality exploited it".
