Top League Highlights: Shining Arcs vs Verblitz

Verblitz edged the Shining Arcs 38-36 in round 6 of the Japanese Top league. The Shining Arcs opened the scoring with an early penalty, but Verblitz ran in four first half tries to three to take a 26-22 lead into the halftime break. Two early second half tries for Verblitz saw the visitors take control of the match at 38-22 heading into the final quarter. Verblitz then picked up a yellow card, with the Shining Arcs capitalizing immediately with two tries in quick succession to storm back into it at 38-36 and set up an intense finish. However, the comeback was not to be as Verbltiz held on for a narrow two point victory.
