Toulouse Season Review

Toulouse finished last season in 5th place and will be looking to put a disappointing 2016/17 season behind them as they fell into the bottom half of the standings, in 11th place with one round to go.

Fabien Pelous' side will be playing their last fixture of the season against Bayonne and will only be able to move ahead of Bordeaux if, Bordeaux, fail to pick up a single log point against Racing  92. 

The game will also be former France captain Thierry Dusautoir's last game in the red jersey, as he has already announced his retirement. 

Sebastien Bezy is the top points scoring for Toulouse scoring 102 points for his club while retaining a 72% kicking success. 

The Top 14 side will also be without the services of former  All Black Luke McAlister who will be moving onto Toulon next season. 

Toulouse less-than-impressive season can also be credit to the fact that they struggled to score points, scoring the 2nd lowest total for the season.
