Dominic Day will leave Bath for Japanese club Toyota Verblitz at the end of the 2016 season. The 30-year-old Wale international recently notched up 100 appearances for Bath and played for his country in the RWC against Uruguay.

Super Rugby side Cheetahs have had to send two players home within hours of each other ahead of their match against Queensland Reds this weekend. Utility forward Hilton Lobberts left for Bloemfontein after a serious shoulder in jury and prop Danie Mienie dislocated his shoulder during training in Brisbane.

The Glasgow Warriors powerhouse announced his retirement earlier today with immediate effect. Eddie played his last game for Warriors against Leinster last month and has recently been sidelined with a shoulder injury. He is the club's longest serving player and has made 126 appearance in 10 years.
