Tuesday Afternoon Round Up
Manu Tuilagi withdrawn from England's tour to Australia

Tuilagi will miss England's three-Test tour of Australia next month after sustaining a hamstring injury during Leicester Tigers's 44-17 defeat by Saracens in the Premiership semi-final at Allianz Park.

The 25-year-old is expected to require a six-week rehabilitation for what is thought to be a grade two tear of his hamstring.

McCloskey signs contract extension

Ulster Player of the Year, Stuart McCloskey, has signed a contract extension that will keep him at Kingspan Stadium until 2019.

McCloskey, who still had a year remaining on his previous contract, admits he had hesitation in signing a long-term deal with the Province:

"I grew up here in Ulster and it was always a dream to pull on the jersey. Despite some strong interest from other clubs, it was a fairly straightforward decision since all of my family and friends are here. The supporters, the facilities that we have and the quality of the coaching were all factors in my decision."

The 23-year-old made his Ulster debut back in February 2014 as a replacement in the PRO12 fixture against Dragons. He has accumulated 42 appearances for the Province, registering 8 tries.

Russell to miss Scotland tour

Glasgow Warriors Finn Russell has been ruled out of Scotland's summer tour to Japan due to injury.

The 19-times capped international sustained a head injury in the PRO12 play-off in Galway and will remain in the care of the club's medical team.
