Joaquín Tuculet ruled out for 6 months with knee injury


Jaguares and Pumas fullback Joaquín Tuculet suffered a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament of the knee and will be approximately out for six months.


Tuculet sustained the injury in their 23-19 victory against Chiefs at the weekend. Full story

Wales name 31-man summer tour squad

Cory Hill and Ellis Jenkins have been named co-captains with Cardiff Blues scrum-half Tomos Williams the sole uncapped player.

George North and Ross Moriarty are the only two Lions named.

Gregor Townsend names six uncapped players in Scotland squad

The potential debutants are split between the touring forwards and backs, with Edinburgh Rugby duo Lewis Carmichael and Jamie Ritchie joined by Glasgow Warriors back-row Matt Fagerson in the pack.

Ofa Tuungafasi signs until 2021 with the Blues

The Blues have confirmed that prop and All Black, Ofa Tuungafasi, has signed a deal keeping him with the club until 2021.

Tu'ungafasi made his provincial debut in 2012 in a match against Hawke's Bay and his strong performances during that season saw him debut in the Blues squad for the 2013 Super Rugby season. Full story

Blues first-five Bryn Gatland will join the southern club from next season for two years.
He will be joined at the club by robust young loosie, Marino Mikaele Tu’u, who has already played once for the Highlanders this season as an injury replacement. Full story
