Andy Ellis to retire from Super Rugby at the end of the season:
The 28 time capped All Black has announced his retirement after more than a decade of professional rugby in the league. Ellis, aged 32, has played over 130 times for the Crusaders in Super Rugby and has also represented Kobe Stellers in Japan will hang up his boots from Super Rugby at the end of the 2016 season with intentions to play in Japan.
Mike Ford and Bath Rugby part ways:
Bath Rugby have announced that Ford will no longer be a part of their coaching set up after finishing 9th in the Premiership. Ford, an accomplished rugby league player, was the defensive coach for England during the 2007 Rugby World Cup which they finished runners up and boasted the least tries conceded in 2010 6 Nations as well as the pool stages of the 2011 World Cup. Ford joined Bath after not extending his contract with England
Senatore banned for 10 weeks:
Jaguares and Argentinean loose forward, Leonardo Senatore, has been banned for 10 weeks following a bite on a Sharks player in Saturdays Super Rugby game in Argentina
Jarryd Hayne will play in the London 7's:
Jarryd Hayne has retired from the NFL with immediate effect and will join up with Fiji 7's for the London leg of the World Series competition. Hayne is making this move in a late charge to play in the Olympic games. There was doubt though that he would be unable to play due to a WADA rule stating that any players must be registered with the drug testing agency 6 months prior to an event. In yet a further twist he has not yet signed with a rugby union or league side yet and many speculate a return to the 13 man code
