Two Wins For Canada

Canada head coach Kieran Crowley is targeting two wins for his side in this year’s Rugby World Cup.

Doing so would be enough for Canada to finish third and automatically qualify for the following tournament in 2019.

Canada are in Pool D along with Ireland, France, Italy and Romania and while the odds of picking up two wins from those games might seem slim Crowley believes his side can make it happen.

"A good World Cup for us will be qualifying for the next World Cup, so you have to finish third in your pool for that.

"We would consider that success. You have got to win at least two games to be assured of that.

"We had the same sort of thing at our last World Cup and we won one and drew one, but we have hopes we can do it this time.”
