Ulster team named to face Leinster in home interpro derby

Ulster Rugby Head Coach, Richie Murphy, has named his Ulster side to take on provincial rivals, Leinster Rugby, in Round 15 of the BKT United Rugby Championship at Affidea Stadium tomorrow night. (KO: 7.45pm)

There is one change from the side that defeated La Rochelle in the Quarter-Final of the Challenge Cup last week.

Iain Henderson captains the side, starting alongside Cormac Izuchukwu in the second row.

Angus Bell starts at loosehead prop, alongside hooker Tom Stewart and tighthead prop, Tom O’Toole in the front row.

In the back row, Sean Reffell starts at openside flanker, with Nick Timoney missing out.

David McCann starts at blindside flanker and Juarno Augustus keeps his spot at number eight.

Last weekend’s Player of the Match, Nathan Doak, starts at scrum-half alongside fly-half Jack Murphy.

Stuart McCloskey and James Hume form the midfield partnership at inside and outside centre.

After scoring two tries last week, in-form Zac Ward starts on the left wing, with Werner Kok on the right and Jacob Stockdale patrolling the backfield at full-back.

The bench also remains unchanged, with James McCormick, Sam Crean, Scott Wilson, Harry Sheridan and Bryn Ward providing the forward impact.

Conor McKee, Jake Flannery and Jude Postlethwaite are the backline options.
