Week 1 of Super Rugby is complete and it gives us a great opportunity to look at the UltimateStat leaders for each of the leagues after their opening round. Here are the Top Performing individuals for the Premiership, Pro14, Top 14 and Super Rugby after Round 1 of each tournament

Defenders Beaten:

10 - Super Rugby and Top 14 top this list with Anton Lienert-Brown (Chiefs) and Apisai Naqalevu (Clermont) beating 10 defenders each. Lienert-Brown went on to make 9 from 9 tackles in the 3 point loss to Highlanders while Naqalevu made 7 clean breaks in Clermont's big win over Agen

Pro 14 - 7 George North - Ospreys vs Edinburgh

25: Matt Todd may have been over shadowed by Akira Ioane on the day but his work rate on defence is second to none as he made 93% of his 27 tackle attempts. He won 2 vital turnovers too as he helped the Crusaders earn a tough two point win over the Blues at Eden Park
