The Springboks got back to winning ways after beating the Wallabies in a tight game in Cape Town. The game was ultimately settled by the boot of Man of the Match, Handre Pollard, but the Wallabies were in the game until around 5 minutes left to play. The visitors lost Wright, White and Sua'ali'i early and that hampered their game but Corey Toole on debut was superb. For the hosts Cheslin Kolbe, Ox Nche and Eben Etzebeth off the bench made the difference
