Wales blow as injured Jonathan Davies misses World Cup
Jonathan Davies, a key cog in the Wales midfield, has been ruled out of the World Cup after sustaining a knee ligament injury playing for Clermont Auvergne on Saturday.
Davies will be replaced in the training squad, due to be announced on June 8, by the uncapped teenager Tyler Morgan, who was withdrawn from the Under-20 squad due to play in the junior world championships.
Morgan was also called up for the Six Nations squad and is spoken about as the long-term successor to Davies at outside-centre having become the youngest player to sign a dual national contract this year.
