Wales Team Named For All Blacks Test

Warren Gatland has made sweeping changes to his Wale team for this weekend’s clash with world champions New Zealand at the Principality Stadium.

A hugely inexperienced Welsh side struggled against Georgia this past weekend, but Gatland has now recalled his Test stars for the visit of Steve Hansen’s mighty All Blacks.

Scott Williams will partner Owen Williams in the centre, with Jamie Roberts on the bench, while Leigh Halfpenny, Steff Evans and Hallam Amos make up the back three in the absence of Liam Williams.

Rhys Webb is retained from last week after making a successful return from injury and will partner Dan Biggar.

In the pack Ken Owens starts at hooker with Rob Evans and Tomas Francis on either side of him while Alun-Wyn Jones returns to lead the side with Jake Ball packing down with him.
