Warriors announce new management structure

Worcester Warriors have announced a new management structure which will see Chief Executive Jim O'Toole step down from his role at the end of June.

With O'Toole's departure, the Club will replace the Chief Executive role with a new position of Managing Director. The new Managing Director will have responsibility for the operations of the Club, with responsibility for the rugby department remaining with Director of Rugby Gary Gold, who reports directly to the Board.

O'Toole, who joined Warriors in February 2015, said: "This new structure makes sense for the business and I would like to thank our partners, staff and fans for their support during my tenure as Chief Executive.”

Warriors announced that Gus MacKay will become the Club's new Managing Director on Monday 12 June. Mackay has 15 years of experience working in rugby and cricket, where he has held the positions of Chief Executive and Managing Director.

Worcester Warriors Chairman Bill Bolsover said: "We welcome Gus to his new role at a very exciting time for the commercial side of the business and believe his experience within professional sport will be a catalyst to drive the Club forward off the pitch.”
