Muldowney to join Grenoble next season

Grenoble has confirmed to have captured Connacht second row Aly Muldowney.

After having his name appear on the list of players who are to be released at the end of the season, Muldowney has been firmly snapped up to the Top 14 side for the upcoming season.

"I am happy to have signed for Grenoble. My family and I look forward to arriving," said Muldowney.

"It's also a great opportunity for me to play the Top 14, that one of the best and most challenging competitions in the world."

The 32-year-old has played a vital role during his season at Connacht and joins Grenoble on a two-year deal.

Chiliboy Ralepelle on bench for Sharks after drug ban

Ralepelle was suspended by World Rugby in 2014 after he failed a doping test while recovering from injury. He has previously tested positive for a banned substance back in 2010 but dodged a ban in that occasion.

The Springbok hooker returns to South African Rugby after the two-year suspension.
