Wasps sign Nathan Charles on a short-term deal

Wasps have signed 28-year-old Australian hooker Nathan Charles on a three-month contract as injury cover.

 

Charles, who won four caps for the Wallabies in 2014, has recently had spells at Bath and Clermont, having spent most of his career playing for the Western Force, where he made 83 appearances.


 

Saracens Academy trio extend deals


Prop forward Ralph Adams-Hale, centre Dom Morris and wing Rotimi Segun have all put pen to paper to remain at Allianz Park. Adams-Hale, who has represented England U20s and is currently on dual-registration with Bedford Blues has signed new deal that will see the Harpenden RFC junior stay with the club until 2021.

Centre Dom Morris and wing Rotimi Segun, both who have represented England U20s, have also signed extensions. Morris has extended his deal to 2020 and Segun extending to 2019.

Jonny May ruled out of England's autumn opener against Argentina

May is set to miss England's opening autumn international against the Pumas after sustaining a hamstring injury during the squad's training camp in Portugal.

May pulled up in Tuesday's practice session to further limit Eddie Jones' wing options after Elliot Daly and Jack Nowell face a spell on the sidelines.

Wales lose Tyler Morgan through injury

Dragons centre Tyler Morgan has been ruled out of Wales' autumn internationals and Scott Williams has therefore been called into the squad.

The 22-year-old will miss the fixtures against Australia, Georgia, New Zealand and South Africa after sustaining an ankle problem during the Dragons' PRO14 defeat to Ospreys last week.

Daniel Kenny suspended for 3 weeks for dangerous tackle

Daniel Kenny of London Scottish appeared before an independent disciplinary panel yesterday evening after being cited for making a dangerous tackle.

The incident occurred in the second half of the Championship match between London Scottish and Hartpury College on 28 October 2017.

Kenny accepted the charge and was given a three-week suspension. He is free to play again on 29 November.
