Marland Yarde leaves Harlequins for Sale Sharks

The Harlequins have confirmed that winger Marland Yarde will join Sale Sharks with immediate effect.

Though still only 25, Marland, who was born in St Lucia, boasts a wealth of experience and has already made more than 100 Premiership appearances - 81 of which for Harlequins, scoring 27 tries, since joining in 2014.

Cheetahs sign Barry & Coertzen on short-term deals


The Cheetahs have recruited two outside back who will join the Pro 14 squad from the 14th of November.


The talented 27-year-old wing and fullback, AJ Coertzen who captained the Griquas side and played an integral role their Currie Cup campaign this year.

Varsity Cup star, Craig Barry made his Currie Cup debut for Western Province against the Free State Cheetahs this year. This exceptional leader and good communicator made the Junior Springbok squad in 2011 and captained the Varsity Cup Dream Team and Western Province for a couple of games in the 2017 SuperSport Challenge.

New Zealand Super Rugby sides confirm 2018 squads

Familiar names with unfamiliar faces, 42 new recruits, nine sets of brothers including two twins are included in the 2018 Investec Super Rugby squads named by their clubs today.

A total 190 professional players have been signed for the new season – 38 for each of the New Zealand Super Rugby clubs – the Blues, Chiefs, Hurricanes, Crusaders and Highlanders.

Harlequins sign Mike Mayhew on 3-month loan

Harlequins have announced the signing of hooker Mike Mayhew from Yorkshire Carnegie on a three-month loan.

Mike is the older brother of former Harlequin prop Nic Mayhew.
