Lozowski banned for 2 weeks

Alex Lozowksi has been banned for 2 weeks and will only be available from November 5, missing the Test Match against South Africa.

Lozowksi was cited for entering the ruck recklessly. He was cited for another offence but was not found guilty of an illegal tackle.

England Rugby Putting Player Welfare First


The RFU, Rugby Players Association and Premiership Rugby today announced major changes, with the focus on player welfare that will take affect in the 2019/20 season.

Israel Folau commits to Super Rugby with four year Waratahs deal
 
 

Israel Folau is set to play for Australia to the end of 2022 after reportedly signing a four-year contract extension with Rugby Australia, the Wallabies and NSW Waratahs.


The 29-year-old superstar put pen to paper on the new deal some time ago, but Rugby Australia and Waratahs have kept the announcement under wraps.

 
 
Jarrod Evans called into Wales squad
 

Welsh Rugby Union have today confirmed that Cardiff Blues' Jarrod Evans has been called into the squad for the November Tests.

The former Wales U20 fly-half was already training with the squad but has now been called up officially.

Bernard Le Roux ruled out of France's November Tests

Racing 92 flanker Bernard Le Roux has been ruled out of France's November Tests after injuring his cheekbone during last Saturday's 44-12 victory against Ulster.

The 29-year-old was originally included in the squad as cover in second row and back row. France have yet to confirm the duration of his unavailability.

Mapoe to join Springbok squad in Stellenbosch

Lionel Mapoe will join the Springbok training on Wednesday in Stellenbosch as injury cover for Lukhanyo Am, who is unlikely to be fit for the first two Tests of the Outgoing Tour.
