Vunipola not Guilty: Saracens no.8 Billy Vunipola's case for striking has been dismmised by the RFU panel. This means the England man is free to play in Saracens crucial semi-final game against Clermont Auvernge this Saturday. Vunipola was originally cited for striking with the head on Leicester's Matthew Tait but the 3 man panel found nothing wrong with the incident meang Vunipola is free to play.
Leicester to play USA fixture: Leicester Tigers are set to play the first professional club match in America when they take on newly formed Rough Riders in Philadelphia. The match will be held at Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field, which holds 69,000, in a game dubbed the 'Independence Cup' fixture on August 8. The clash will signal the start of America's new professional league the NRFL - National Rugby Football League. The Rough Riders will include some US Eagles and players from club level, NFL and college football.
