Pocock planning on sabbatical

Brumbies and Australia international David Pocock is in negotiations for a new contract with ARU and wants a 12 month sabbatical included where he can go study in England.

With a degree in Ecological Agricultural Systems, Pocock wants to study in Oxford or Cambridge and could follow in Jamie Roberts footsteps in appearing in a Varsity match.

Pocock has turned down offers from Top 14 clubs, which could have made him the highest paid player in the world.
