Hingano came through Australian club side Manly's youth systems and starred for the senior side and earned a place in North Harbour Rays' NRC squad.
Injuries hampered his 2014 NRC season but his efforts did not go unnoticed with Top 14 side La Rochelle signing the centre during the 2014/15 season.
He spent two seasons with the side before making the move to Clermont.
Ahead of the 2018/19 season he signed a deal with Stade Francais.
In July 2019, he was called into the Tonga squad for the Pacific Nations Cup following the withdrawal of Tasman’s Fetuli Paea.
