Chance Peni

17th Jan 1994 1.90m/97kg Right Wing

Born in New Zealand, raised in Perth, Peni began his rugby career in Western Australia with Wests Subiaco and played West Australian Schoolboys alongside Western Force youngsters Luke Burton, Harry Scoble, Kane Koteka and Richard Hardwick.

After two years with Rugby League side New Castle Tigers, the former Western Force Academy member and Wests Tigers Rugby League young gun signed a deal to be part of the Western Force for the 2017 Super Rugby season.

The skilful winger with silky skills and electric pace, Peni dominated the early rounds of Super Rugby in 2017, scoring a highlight reel of tries and proving he had a bright future in the 15-man game.

A shoulder injury prematurely ended the speedster’s season but he returned at the beginning of the National Rugby Championship with the Perth Spirit.

He made 7 appearances for Western Force in 2017 scoring 5 tries and in November 2017 he signed a deal to join the Brumbies for the 2018 & 2019 Super Rugby seasons.
