An explosive hooker with all the potential to play at test level John 'JP' Sauni was named in the New Zealand U20s squad ahead of the 2017 U20 World Rugby Championship.
He helped the side claim the title and was named in the Auckland squad ahead of the Mitre 10 Cup.
After impressing for the Melbourne Rebels U20 side in 2016, Sauni was picked up by NSW Waratahs for the 2018 Super Rugby season.
