Mann began his rugby journey playing for the Edinburgh Academicals at the amateur level, showcasing his skills and passion for the sport. His dedication and potential caught the attention of the Scottish Rugby Academy, granting him a place for the 2019-20 season. He was assigned to Edinburgh Rugby, where he continued to develop and refine his abilities, while also representing Heriot's.

During his time with Heriot's in the Super 6 competition, Mann consistently displayed his talent and made a strong impression. As a result, he earned the opportunity to train with the Glasgow Warriors, a significant achievement in his professional career. This recognition led to his competitive debut for the Glasgow side in the European Challenge Cup, where he made his mark against Bath Rugby on 10 December 2022.
