Coming out of Hoërskool Menlopark fly half Tony Jantjies, younger brother of Lions & Springbok flyhalf Elton, was selected in the Blue Bulls U18 Craven Week side and went on to represent the SA Schools side in 2009.

After school Jantjies linked up with the Bulls U19 and U21 squads and earned his call up to the South African U20s squad for the 2012 Junior World Championship.

On his return from the Junior World Championship, he made his first-class debut for the Blue Bulls in their opening match of the 2012 Vodacom Cup competition, coming on as a second-half substitute against Griquas

In 2015 Jantjies joined the Eastern Province Kings on loan for the Vodacom Cup and made two appearances before his contract was terminated following a breach of team protocol.

Jantjies returned to the Bulls in 2016 where he was on the fringe of the Super Rugby side and made appearances for the side in the Currie Cup.

He was included in the Bulls 2017 Super Rugby squad, following the injury of Handre Pollard.

Jantjies made 5 appearances for the Bulls during the 2017 Super Rugby season scoring 4 points and featured regularly for the side during the Currie Cup season.

He was included in the Bulls wider training squad for the 2018 Super Rugby season but didn't make the final squad.
