Ropate Rinakama

Ropate was schooled at Mount Albert Grammar School, a semi co-educational state secondary school in Mount Albert in central Auckland, New Zealand.

He played for North Harbour in the NPC from 2013-2016 before joining Northland for the 2017 renewal.

Rinakama was rewarded for his breakthrough Mitre 10 Cup campaign with a place in Fiji's squad for their Northern tour.

He also turned out for Grenoble in France’s Top 14 as a medical joker in 2017-18 and for Singapore's Asia Pacific Dragons in the Global Rapid Rugby competition in 2019.

Rinakama joined Warriors in November 2019 on a short-term contract as a 'medical joker' to provide cover for the injured Nick Schonert and Farai Mudariki.
