Kieft is a Dutch international back-rower that made his debut for Haagsche Rugby Club, a rugby club from The Hague in the Netherlands.
He joined La Rochelle in 2010 at 18 years of age to the surprise of many and went on to study civil engineering.
Arriving at the club as a No. 8, he underwent a transition to flanker and signed his first professional contract with the club in February 2014, becoming the first Dutch player to do so.
The 2015-16 season was a breakthrough year for Zeno and he captained the side in the European Challenge Cup. He signed a three year deal in November 2015.
Kieft played four times during the 2016-17 Top 14 and twice in Europe in the Champions Cup but is seeing regular game time during the 2017-18 campaign.
