Gradyn Bowd

Bowd was raised in Red Deer attending River Glen School until grade 9 when transferred to Lindsay Thurber for High School.

He graduated in 2010, achieving male athlete of the year and 1st all-round student. During high school Bowd won 4 provincial medals, bronze and gold in rugby, gold in badminton and bronze in handball.

Soon after, he delayed his rugby career due to injury and took up coaching the Sr. men’s team in Red Deer along with a variety of other youth teams.

He made a return to Rugby and sealed his place in the Canada squad for the 2017 Americas Rugby Championship.
