Angus Lloyd

2nd Oct 1992 1.93m/108kg Scrum Half

Lloyd attended Blackrock College in Dublin, playing on the Senior Cup Team in 2011.

In August 2016, he joined the senior set-up in Ulster after impressing for Trinity the season before where he was duly rewarded with the accolade of Ulster Bank Division 1B Player of the Year.

Lloyd can take confidence from that award and can also draw on his experience of representing the Ireland Clubs International XV.

In November 2016, he made the move from Belfast to Limerick as injury cover on a loan deal.

The diminutive scrum-half made his Champions Cup debut in the quarter-final against Toulouse in Thomond Park.

In December 2018, Connacht reinforced their scrum-half stocks with the short-term loan signing of Lloyd.

After two appearances for the province, he signed a new deal with Connacht ahead of 2019/20 season.

As of April 2020, he has made 4 appearances for the Irish Province.
