Le Roux made his first class debut for Leopards in the Currie Cup First Division in 2015, and making a further 8 starts for the club in the 2016 season.
After representing NWU Pukke in the 2016 Varsity Cup, scoring tries in their matches against UCT, Le Roux moved to Italy to join Pro12 side Zebre before the 2016–17 season.
