Would have liked to see Haskell dropped for Clifford or Harrison, and do not agree with Yarde/Nowell, but "In Eddie we trust"! C'mon England, Saturday can't come quick enough!!!

Someone explain to me why nowell has been dropped? Yarde playing for a side that finished 7th, rather than nowell, who scored in the prem final, plays for a team that finished 2nd? Would just like to know.

At the end of the day he's seen them train, and his job is to select a team based on their performance

Yeah In agreement over nowell, I think jones has gone with yarde to add more variation as nowell and Watson are 2 very similar players

I think Eddie has gone for experience for the first test cos it's arguably the most important one of the three, and neither team knows what to expect from the other. I wouldn't be surprised if next week's team has had a few changes.

Would have liked to have seen Itoje at 6, Clifford at 7 and Launchbury at lock. Surely Nowell has been too good to miss out on a start. Questions over Teo's fitness perhaps?

pretty much agree Sam, although with so little time in the England camp I can see why he hasn't gone with teo. to be honest though I trust Eddie's judgement, he's been right so far. Also would have gone with Nowell over yarde
