Leinster trumped defending champions Glasgow Warriors 37-19 in the United Rugby Championship semi-final.
Here are our Leinster player ratings.
1. Andrew Porter – 7
Great scrums. Put pressure on Glasgow and won a penalty.
2. Dan Sheehan – 8
Great lineout throws and scrums. Made some powerful carries and the hooker scored a brace too.
3. Thomas Clarkson – 7.5
Great pressure from his side of the scrum to win a penalty. He made some powerful carries and scored a try.
4. Joe McCarthy – 7
He made an important lineout steal in their own 22 in the first half. Threw himself in the rucks too.
5. James Ryan – 6.7
A good shift from the lock. He carried the ball 6 times and made 5 tackles.
6. Ryan Baird – 7
A man-of-the-match performance from the flanker. Baird put in a good shift, leading the kick chase and did well in the lineouts too.
7. Scott Penny – 7.5
Penny put in a massive shift making the most tackles (15) out of the Leinster team.
8. Jack Conan – 7
Conan did the basics well, showed his experience and stepped up when he was needed.
9. Jamison Gibson-Park – 6.8
Provided good service making the most passes (84) but made a couple of ‘bad’ decisions going for glory instead of passing. He also bagged 2 try assists.
10. Sam Prendergast – 5.9
Missed a few kicks off the tee and knocked the ball where there was a try scoring opportunity. Poor on defence too with only 1 successful tackle and 4 missed.
11. James Lowe – 7.8
Louw made a key offload which assisted Osborne’s try. He also put pressure on Glasgow under the high balls but was poor on defence making 2 tackles and missing 4.
12. Jordie Barrett – 6.9
Barret had a couple of good moments but fumbled a try by knocking the ball on the line
13. Jamie Osborne – 8.2
Carried the ball hard. Ran great support lines, had a try disallowed but still scored a brace.
14. Tommy O'Brien – 7
A good performance from the winger bagging himself 1 try assist.
15. Jimmy O'Brien – 7
A good performance from the fullback making 52 metres, beating 4 defenders and making 1 clean break. Surprisingly Jimmy made no tackles in the game.
