Watch: Angus Ta'avao sent off for dangerous tackle on Garry Ringrose

Angus Ta’avao was banished for the rest of the match following this nasty head clash between he and Garry Ringrose.

Ta’avao was helped off the pitch after his sending off.

Ringrose was replaced following the incident with Bundee Aki coming on.

Despite the sending off, New Zealand trailled by just three at the break.

They played with a man or two short for most of the first half, Ireland completely dominated vast passages of play.

However, the visitors were unable to make New Zealand pay and a Beauden Barrett try right on the stroke of halftime.
