Bath name side for Premiership Final

Johann van Graan has named his matchday 23 as Bath Rugby take on Leicester Tigers in the 2025 Gallagher Premiership final on Saturday (14 June, kick-off 15:00).

The Blue, Black and White finished top of the league during the regular season before beating Bristol Bears 34-20 in last Friday’s epic play-off in front of a sold-out crowd at The Rec.

Van Graan makes two changes to his starting XV for the game at Allianz Stadium with Thomas du Toit coming into the front row to join fellow prop Beno Obano and hooker Tom Dunn.

Quinn Roux, who will be making his 50th appearance for Bath, and Charlie Ewels are selected as the two locks in the engine room.

Flankers Ted Hill and Guy Pepper retain their places in the back row with Miles Reid slotting in at No.8.

The backs are unchanged from last weekend’s semi-final with captain Ben Spencer and Finn Russell combining at scrum-half and fly-half, respectively, with Cameron Redpath and Max Ojomoh named as the two centres.

In the back three, wingers Will Muir and Joe Cokanasiga are joined by fullback Tom de Glanville.

Bath’s replacements feature a six-two split with hooker Niall Annett set to make his last appearance for the Blue, Black and White before retiring.

Prop Will Stuart will reach 100 appearances for Bath if called upon from the bench with Francois van Wyk the other front row replacement.

Ross Molony, Josh Bayliss and Alfie Barbeary are the other impact forwards ready to enter the action on Saturday as will be backs Tom Carr-Smith and Ciaran Donoghue.
